Department of Education Planning & Management (Ed.PM) of Adarsha Multiple Campus, Gajuri 1, Dhading organized a day seminar on “Educational Plan: Policies and Practices”. The objective of the seminar was to familiarize the Master Level students on local, national and global dimensions of educational planning and development. The latent objective of the programme was to show the students how a seminar is conducted. Gajuri Municipality Chair Mr. Rajendra Bikram Basnet had expressed good wishes for the programme whereas Vice Chair Mrs. Sita Dhungana (Aryal) had presented a paper on “Local Planning Policies and Practices”. Mr. Ambika Prasad Acharya, Chief of Education Development and Coordination Unit, Dhading had presented a paper on “District Education Plan: Policies and Practices.” Finally, Prof. Dr. Hem Raj Dhakal (Chair of Education Planning and Management Subject Committee of Central Department of Education, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur) presented a paper on “Historical and Philosophical Development of Educational Planning”. The seminar was chaired by Campus
Chief Mr. Rudra Prasad Danai. The students had taken active part in the seminar. As this was a new academic effort at Adarsha, the organizers, participants and presenters had shown praiseworthy enthusiasm before and during their involvement. Mr. Sharad Chandra Simkhada, M. Ed. Coordinator, has thanked all the personalities who contributed to the successful accomplishment of the programme. Campus Chief, Mr. Rudra Danai observed, “The team has
evaluated the programme and the learnings will be applied in practice in similar future programmes.”
